Scrimshaw on Fossil Ivory by Heidi Robichaud
"Arctic Ties"

This is a natural half-round piece of mammoth ivory, used for scrimshaw in much the same state in which it was found, measuring 17 1/2 inches long by 3 inches wide, and weighing 2.3 lbs.
